JEREMY WITCHER, Operations Director
Jeremy, our Operations Director, has worked in education and training throughout his career. On leaving the Army where he commanded a number of training units he specialised in delivering student team building and leadership development programmes for a large number of schools throughout the UK.
He is an experienced adventurer having organised and led multi-national canoeing expeditions to the Arctic and Borneo as well as numerous residential programmes for school groups and others throughout the UK and Europe. He is based in Croatia and is responsible for the operational delivery of School's Own programmes.

AMANDA WITCHER, Sales and Marketing Director
Amanda, co-founder of Schools Own Adventure, moved to Croatia after 27 years of stockbroking in London, a career spent dealing in Asian equity including a stint as Director of Bank of China International. Working life, however, was not all P&L accounts and Excel spreadsheets . . . rock-climbing in Hong Kong, kayaking in Malaysia and trekking in Indonesia were all perks of the job! Amanda is also a skier, horse-rider and scuba diver.
Amanda is responsible for overseeing your customer experience from first contact right through to the the successful delivery of your school trip.

TERRY HAYWARD, Sales and Marketing Director
Terry has been involved in youth development and adventure travel for over 25 years. He is a proud Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award holder, a Fellow of The Royal Geographical Society (FRGS) and a Divemaster with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). Terry has travelled extensively with Raleigh International and World Challenge Expeditions whilst leading groups of young people undertaking various environmental, scientific and adventure projects.

TONY WARD, DofE Award Advisor
Tony is the owner of No Limits Development, School’s Own partner Approved Activity Provider. He is proud to be associated with the DofE Award scheme and says that “participating in the DofE Award Scheme myself gave me a sense of independence and exploration at a young age which has stayed with me ever since. Providing opportunities for young people to participate in DofE Expeditions is a means of giving something back to a scheme which has given me so much”.
Mountain Safety Advisor
VLADIMIR MESARIĆ, Facilities Manager
Vladimir (Dado) is a highly exerienced mountaineer who has devoted much of his life developing the Croatian alpine and climbing community. He is an internationally certified (IFMGA) mountain guide and has climbed and explored many of the world famous mountain ranges through 25 expeditions and trekking. He was a member of the Mount Everest West Ridge first ascent in 1979; one of his most important achievements.
Vladimir has been part of the Croatian Mountain Rescue Team for more than 40 years as a member and instructor, as well the Croatia representative of IKAR / CISA Terrestrial Rescue Committee. In 2005 Vladimir was one of the founders of Outward Bound Croatia.
VAL MILIĆ, Office Manager
Val is Amanda’s deputy. She makes the administrative arrangements for your itinerary ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
MARIO MUSULIN, Leader
Mario began his climbing career in 2007 instructing in caving, climbing, alpinism and mountaineering schools whilst pursuing his own goals as a competition ice climber. He was Croatian champion in 2015 and runner up in 2016 and has also competed in the Ice Climbing World Cup Championship in Korea. He is a member of Croatian Mountain Rescue Team and a licensed rescuer in all mountain conditions and weathers.
